Frank Gust Jahner, passed away on Sept. 6, 2023. Frank was born on April 4, 1952 in McLaughlin, South Dakota, to Frank and Viola (Heauser) Jahner. He was raised in North Dakota and in his later years moved to Washington.

On Sept. 8, 1973, Frank married the love of his life, Debi Pelkey. They then had 9 children, they lived in Easton, Washington, and then Aberdeen and Hoquiam. Frank worked for John Girt, logging in Easton from 1973-78, then was a block cutter/tree faller from 1978 up until retiring in 2004.

Frank loved nothing more than spending his time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed picking berries, mushrooms and cascara. Frank was always getting a kick out of playing jokes on people.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Viola Jahner; daughter Stacy Jahner; grandson baby Bryan Raughton; brothers John, Jim and Mike Jahner; and sister Debbie Jahner. He is survived by his wife Debi Jahner who resides at the family home; sons Frank (Brandy) Jahner of Yelm, Washington and Tim (Lindsay) Jahner of Graham, Washington and son-in-law Jev of Tacoma; daughters: Teresa (Scott) Hyde of Long Beach, Washington; Jamie Jahner who resides in the family home; April (John) Jahner of Hoquiam, Washington; Autumn (Bryan) Raughton of Roy, Washington; Opal Jahner of Fort. Campbell, Kentucky; and Rosemary Jahner who resides in the family home; brothers Ray Jahner of Lakewood, Washington and Gust Jahner of Eatonville, Washington; sisters: Betty Boster of Yelm, Washington; Martha Riggs of Lakewood, Washington; Viola Elliot of Tacoma, Washington; Brenda Jahner of Tulalip, Washington; Christena Dotloe of Gig Harbor, Washington; Maggie Jahner of Tacoma, Washington; Rose Emery of Eatonville, Washington and Mary West of Bremerton, Washington, 18 grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

A service is being planned for Oct. 15 at the Rotary Log Pavilion (1401 Sargent Blvd, Aberdeen, WA 98520) from 1 to 5 p.m.
