Donald Eugene Bennett, age 87, of Lilliwaup, Washington passed away on April 6, 2024, in Vancouver, Washington.

Don was born in Aberdeen, Washington to John and Irene Bennett on May 3, 1936. He graduated from Hoquiam HS in 1954 and went on to earn a B.S. degree in Forestry from Washington State University in 1960. He worked in the forestry industry, in many capacities, for 50 years. He also worked in real estate for 10 years. He truly enjoyed the outdoors, elk hunting, salmon fishing, clam digging and living life on Hood Canal. He was an avid golfer.

Don is survived by his wife, Sharon K. Bennett of Lilliwaup, Washington, daughters, Dawn Marie Clark (Derek) of Laie, Hawaii, Catherine Marie Bennett of Portland, Oregon, Kay Ann Hauser (Chip) of Ridgefield, Washington, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
