Delores Avis MacMillan, age 68, a resident of Aberdeen, died on January 6, 2024, at Pacific Care & Rehabilitation Center in Hoquiam. Mrs. MacMillan was born on June 22, 1955, in Hot Springs, South Dakota to Kenneth D. and Avis (Drown) Hunt. After her mother’s death, the family moved to Whitefish, Montana, where her father married Crystal Fern French. Delores graduated high school in 1973.

Delores and her husband, Peter moved to the Harbor in 1979 where she later had worked for Gas Plus (now Farrell Gas) and Amerigas.

She loved camping and was mom to many and grandmother to everybody.

Surviving relatives include her husband Peter MacMillan of 46 years Aberdeen; two sons, BJ MacMillan (Toni) of Cosmopolis and KC MacMillan (Celeste) of Aberdeen; two daughters, Lisa Turpin of Hoquiam and Fayth Gaebe of Aberdeen; siblings, Don Hunt, Dallas Hunt, Darlene Hunt Mumm and Mary Halden; and four grandchildren, Haylie MacMillan, Ryker MacMillan, Rafe MacMillan and Matthew Turpin.

In addition to her father and stepmother Kenneth and Crystal Hunt, two siblings, Bob Hunt and Geri Elsberry died previously.

A celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. on July 20, 2024, at the Cosmopolis Lions Club.
