James P. O’Donnell

OCEAN SHORES — James Patrick O’Donnell, a resident of Ocean Shores for the past six years, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at home. He was 74.

He taught math and science in Springfield, Oregon and later opened a tutoring service.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Judith L. Shedd

Judith Lurea Shedd, a homemaker and resident of Aberdeen for almost 50 years, died at home on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021. She was 76.

Cremation services are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Ruth E. Evans

ELMA — Ruth Ellen Evan of Hoquiam died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, at Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma. She was 88.

A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021, at the Coleman Mortuary Chapel in Hoquiam.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Joseph and Billie Ann Serventich

Joseph and Billie Ann Serventich were longtime residents of Grays Harbor.

Joseph died Oct. 16, 2020, at the age of 88 and Billie died Oct. 19, 2021, at the age of 91.

Joe had worked for a period as a longshoreman, then for the railroad for many years until his retirement. Billie had worked doing portrait drawings for Disney Studios after high school and had taught ballroom dancing.

At their directive, there will be no service.
