Jo Ann Verrier

Jo Ann Verrier, age 71, a resident of Hoquiam, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam

She had worked as a certified nurse’s assistant for Camelback Hospital in Phoenix prior to moving to Washington, where she worked for Valley General Hospital. In 2018, she moved to the Harbor to be with her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Dionne.

There will be no local services. A private urn committal will be held in Connecticut.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Nathan A. Stewart

WESTPORT — Nathan Allan Stewart, a 32-year-old resident of Westport, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, at home.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Floyd E. Davis

A celebration of life for longtime Neilton resident Floyd Earl Davis, who died March 18, 2020, at his home, will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at the Amanda Park Fire Hall. Military honors will be bestowed.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Fire District No. 4, P.O. Box 23, Amanda Park, WA 98526.

Melvin Peterson

Melvin W. Peterson, an Aberdeen resident and longtime Longshoreman, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at home. He was 77.

Arlene Joanne Hoiland, professional dance instructor and Aberdeen resident, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, at home. She was 86.
