Blanche A (Friend) Campbell

MONTESANO — Blanche Alice (Friend) Campbell, 87 year old longtime resident of Montesano, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, at her home surrounded by family. Cremation arrangements made by Harrison Family Mortuary of Montesano.

Jerome “Pete” Anderson

Jerome “Pete” Anderson, age 81, a resident of Hoquiam, died on Nov. 3, 2020, at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam.

He had worked as a Longshoreman for many years.

A celebration of life will be held when it is safe for larger gathering.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Gene E Thorp

Gene Edward Thorp, Sr., age 64, a resident of Aberdeen, died on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020, at his home in Aberdeen.

Mr. Thorp served in the National Guard. He then became a long-haul truck driver.

By invitation only, there will be a memorial service on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Aberdeen.

A private urn committal service will be held at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Donald J Helser

QUINAULT — Donald John Helser, age 87, a resident of Quinault, died on Friday, October 27, 2020, at his home in Quinault.

He began working at the age of 14, taking pack horses into the Olympics.

He served in the U.S. Navy for 27 years of active and reserve duty and retired with the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer. Upon his military retirement, Don began working for Grays Harbo County as the road superintendent and retired from there after 15 years.

A celebration of life will be held later next year when it is safe for a larger gathering.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

SHELTON — Ronnie Lee Simpkins, 47, of Shelton died Nov. 8, 2020 at his home.
