Longtime Hoquiam resident Douglas Stephen Gwinn of Gig Harbor, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2019, in Gig Harbor. He was 80.

He had worked at Timbermens National Bank in Hoquiam and Seattle First National Bank in Aberdeen and .

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at New Tacoma Cemetery’s Chambers Creek Chapel in University Place.

ELMA — Edith Louise Stokes died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, at her Elma home. She was 77.

Visitation for Elma resident Rufus Andrew Phelps, who died Jan. 20, in Olympia, will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Christian Fellowship Revival Center in Central Park followed by a funeral at the center.

David Cameron Van Hoose of Aberdeen died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2020, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 84.

He will be placed at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
