OCEAN SHORES — Phillip Dennis High II died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, at his Ocean Shores home. He was 53.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Ocean Shores Convention Center.

Letha M. Johnson

Letha May Johnson of Aberdeen died Friday, Jan. 17, 2020. She was 77.

Services are being planned and will be announced when details become available.

Joseph V. Eastlack

Joseph Vernon Eastlack, a Hoquiam resident for several years, died at his home, Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020. He was 78.

Arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Gary E. Burgess

Gary Edward Burgess, a longtime resident of Central Park, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020. He was 75.

He worked for Grays Harbor Paper until its closure in 1992 and then worked at Ocean Spray until working for the Weyerhaeuser Sawmill in Aberdeen.

Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 2p.m. A graveside service with military honors will follow at 3 p.m. Friday at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park. A potluck reception will be held at the Montesano VFW.

Susan White

SALEM, ORE. — Longtime Hoquiam resident Susan White of Salem, Oregon, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, in Salem. She was 75.

There will be no service.
