Karl Rainey

Karl R. Rainey, a Hoquiam resident for over 35 years, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, in Hoquiam. He was 72.

Arrangements are by the Neptune Society.

Robert Stephens

Robert W. Stephens, a former Elma High School counselor, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, at his home. He was 87.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Faith Lutheran Church in Elma. A potluck lunch will follow.

John “Jack” Strom

John “Jack” Strom, a lifetime resident of the Harbor, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, at his home in Aberdeen. He was 84.

He had worked for Quimby & Wilson Colonial Maple Shop and Schoenfeld Furniture in Hoquiam.

A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
