Cheryl Lynn Espedal, a lifetime Aberdeen resident, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at Mason General Hospital in Shelton. She was 54.

Services are being scheduled and will be announced with a full obituary in the coming days.

Rodger W. Freel

Montesano resident Rodger William Freel, a former tug boat captain, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2023 at Tacoma General Hospital. He was 69.

There will be no services.

Felipe L. Maldonado

Felipe Leguizamo Maldonado of Humptulips died at home on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023. He was 65.

A funeral mass will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Aberdeen followed by a graveside committal at Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen.

Burial arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary.

Kathy R. Nutter

Aberdeen resident Kathy Renee Nutter died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, at Kindred Hospital in Seattle. He was 66.

Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary.

Don Holcomb

A celebration of life for Don Holcomb, who died Sept. 16, in Olympia will he held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Hoquiam Elks.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
