David A. Henifin, age 55, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, at his home in Poulsbo, Washington of medical complications.

David was born on June 7, 1968 to parents Dennis and Marie (Fagen) Henifin in Aberdeen, Washington. After attending school in Aberdeen, he graduated from Weatherwax High School. He also studied at Grays Harbor College.

He worked at several restaurants in the Grays Harbor area and then found his calling in boat building and fiber glassing.

David loved all kinds of music and played the drums. He was an avid reader and always had a book in his hand. He also liked to draw and write poetry. When he was younger he was in Boy Scouts and loved the outdoors. He was always camping, clam digging, crabbing or panning for gold.

David is survived by his daughter Ariel Henifin (Austin), son Darren Henifir, partner Ruby, his mother Marie Henifin, sister Darlene Burton (Greg), brother Dan Henifin, grandsons Allen and Teagan, two nieces and one nephew.

Besides his love of being a grandfather and family, he really enjoyed his four dogs.
