Woman flips car near Lebam on SR 6 on Tuesday

At about 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Pacific County Dispatch toned out a Raymond Fire Department Ambulance and Pacific County District 3 Fire stations Menlo and Lebam for a report of a single vehicle rollover accident on the side of state Route 6 in Lebam.

The vehicle was traveling eastbound on state Route 6 near mile marker 15 just east of Lebam, when the driver failed to maintain her lane and went into the ditch hitting a culvert and embankment for a hay field access road, causing the vehicle to flip over and come to a stop on its roof.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to Willapa Harbor Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

A firefighter from Pacific County District 3 Lebam station responded to the accident scene in a fire engine and was the first responder to arrive at the accident scene. Pacific County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Lucas Marthaller was the second responder to arrive on scene followed by the Raymond Fire Department ambulance crew.
