A two-car crash on State Route 12 east of Aberdeen near the old LeMay landfill sent two to the hospital Friday afternoon.
According to the State Patrol, an 81-year-old Aberdeen man was eastbound and turned in front of a westbound vehicle driven by a 26-year-old Knoxville, Tennessee, man around 2:20 p.m.
Both men were taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital with undisclosed injuries. The Aberdeen man was cited for second-degree negligent driving, according to the State Patrol. Both vehicles, a 2005 Ford Ranger and a 1995 Ford Ranger, were a total loss.
