Sheriff’s Office investigating Grayland fatality

The South Beach Regional Fire Authority dispatched two fire engines, a tender and two ambulances to 3702 Tamarack Street just west of SR 105 in Grayland in response to a fifth wheel trailer fire late Thursday morning.

Neighbors were able to remove the woman from the fifth wheel and begin CPR. She did not survive. At this time it is unknown whether the fire and the fatality are related. According to the South Beach Regional Fire Authority, the fire was out by the time crews arrived.

The Pacific County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating.
