A man armed with a gun robbed the Lincoln Street Grocery Monday morning. The gunman fled north, prompting a lockdown of nearby Lincoln Elementary School. Hoquiam Police responded in force and, with the aid of a department K9, flooded the area in search of the suspect, described as a white male, six feet tall with light colored eyes. He was wearing a full plastic facemask and made off with about $160. (DAN HAMMOCK THE DAILY WORLD)
