According to the Sheriffs Office, the photo shows a gun in the right hand of the suspect during his confrontation with Aberdeen Police. On Friday, the county issued a warning about the presence of blue-green algae in fresh water in and around the city. The algae can make people sick or be fatal to animals, including pets.
