On Friday Jan. 24, Levi Lemieux-Taylor was sentenced in Grays Harbor Superior Court to 25 years in prison for the death of Steven McMahon.
Two co-conspirators in this case — Robert Lee Cannon, Sean Steven Ellefson — are still in custody pending upcoming trials for first-degree murder and first-degree robbery, according to Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office Undersheriff Kevin Schrader.
On Nov. 1, 2024, a Grays Harbor Jury found 20-year-old Lemieux-Taylor guilty of first-degree murder, first-degree robbery and theft of a firearm, with a firearm enhancement.
This conviction stems from an armed robbery that occurred on Nov. 6, 2023, in Moclips where 42-year-old Steven McMahon was killed. All three are believed to have had a personal connection to McMahon. The three are all North County residents who lived near the coast.
The Hoquiam and Ocean Shores police departments assisted in the investigation.
