Free meals for kids 18 and younger in August

The nonprofit Moore Wright Group is providing free meals for kids age 18 and younger through the month of August.

Kids can pick up meals Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2:45-4 p.m. at the organization’s new location in the old Middle Swanson’s Building, 1401 Simpson Ave. in Aberdeen.

Kids will be given a supper meal and breakfast for two days. The summer meal program is being sponsored by No Kid Hungry and Save the Children, in partnership with the Moore Wright Group.

The Moore Wright Group distributes items for low-income households in Grays Harbor County and several surrounding counties with supplies from partner agencies like Walmart, Amazon, Men’s Warehouse, 360, Map International, JOANN Fabric, and Ross stores, among others.
