Five new COVID-19-related deaths reported in Grays Harbor County

Five new COVID-19-related deaths were reported in Grays Harbor County Feb. 2-3, according to state Department of Health data.

This brings the county total for the pandemic to 37, a rate of 1.2% of total cases. Grays Harbor Public Health said the high number of deaths reported Feb. 2 was “due to a data processing backlog cleared today (Feb. 4).”

Two new hospitalizations were reported Wednesday, bringing the total for the pandemic to 145. The total Friday, Jan. 29, was 142.
