Just after noon on Wednesday, the Elma Fire Department responded to a report of a possible structure fire on the 100 block of Firlawn Drive. Smoke and flames were visible, possibly from a chimney fire that has spread to the residence.

By 2:30 p.m., the fire had been extinguished and the home was turned back over to the resident.
