Cranberry truck topples in accident near Raymond

A cranberry truck rolled over into a ditch on Monday afternoon near Raymond, causing it to lose its load of cranberries in the process.

According to the Washington State Patrol report, the flatbed truck was driving southbound on State Route 105, 12 miles north of Raymond, just prior to 4 p.m. when the accident occurred. The vehicle entered a curve to the right, when the wheels of the trailer dropped off the pavement to the right, causing it to roll into a ditch.

The driver was not injured, according to the report, and was wearing a seatbelt. The truck was then towed out of the ditch.
