At about 5:20 a.m. on Monday, East Grays Harbor Fire and Rescue crews were dispatched for a possible car fire on westbound U.S. Highway 12 at 4th Street South in Satsop.

Medic 53 and Engine 52 responded. While enroute, crews were notified that multiple callers were indicating the vehicle was fully involved. Personnel arrived on scene to find the fully involved passenger vehicle. Crews blocked all lanes of westbound on U.S. Highway 12 and began extinguishing the blaze.

The fire was successfully put out without any injuries to civilians or firefighters. The Washington State Patrol also responded to this incident.
