“Best Of Twin Harbors” voting extended to March 31

Because we’ve all had our minds on other things the past couple weeks, we’re extending the voting for the Best of the Twin Harbors 2020 awards until the end of the month.

The voting was supposed to end this weekend. Now you have until midnight March 31 to vote online. You do not have to be a subscriber to vote.

“We understand that people have had larger issues to think about these past couple of weeks. To ensure everyone gets an opportunity to have their voices heard we felt it only fair to extend the voting period until the end of the month,” said Mike Hrycko, publisher of The Daily World. “Voting for businesses is your opportunity to promote the best of the best in our community. Not only do you recognize the exceptional businesses on the Harbor, but you help to shine a light on establishments that people in the community may not have realized were there or that they haven’t tried yet.”

There are 109 categories in this year’s balloting and only ballots with at least 10 categories filled in will be counted.

New this year is a chance to vote for the best overall business in each community and one for the whole area. Think of those businesses that offer the best overall customer experience, whatever that means to you.

And you’ll still get a chance to vote for your favorites in specific categories.

Here’s something that will be helpful to the businesses, people and places you vote for: Be as accurate as you can in telling us the name.

So, make your voices heard. It’s a great chance to give your favorites their due.
