The Aberdeen High student body, with help from the Aberdeen Fire Department, turned out Thursday morning to give the school’s girls swim team a sendoff as it heads to the 2A state Swimming and Diving Championships at King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way this weekend.

Aberdeen, coached by Jan Simon, won its seventh straight district title last weekend.
