19th Dist. Rep. Jim Walsh hosting telephone town hall

The event will be similar to a call-in radio format and last about an hour

Rep. Jim Walsh, R-Aberdeen, will host a telephone town hall meeting for 19th District residents on Monday, March 20, at 6 p.m.

The format will be similar to a call-in radio program and is expected to last about an hour. The lawmaker will take questions and provide his perspective on the 2017 legislative session.

“We’re doing good things – bipartisan things – to help the local economy get better, fully fund our schools, protect our property rights and improve our overall quality of life,” Walsh stated in a press release. “I look forward to talking about all of this.”

Community members wanting to participate are asked to call (360) 682-3579. Once connected, they can listen-in and press * (star) on their telephone keypad to ask questions.

Questions prior to the telephone town hall meeting can be directed to Walsh at (360) 786-7806 or jim.walsh@leg.wa.gov.

Walsh plans to host some in-person town hall events around the 19th district after the legislative session concludes on April 23.
