Time for Sand and Sawdust Festival in Ocean Shores

The Daily World

The Five Star Dealerships annual Sand and Sawdust Festival takes place June 25-27 in Ocean Shores.

The festival, which will feature events ranging from sand drawing workshops to the Chainsaw Art Show and Auction, celebrates the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The theme for the festival is “Here Comes the Sun.”

The following is a schedule of events for the three-day festival. Schedule subject to change.

Friday, June 25

Carvers at Vendor Village

• Chainsaw Carving (open to the public) 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

• Chainsaw Quick Carve 10:30 a.m. – noon

• Chainsaw Art Show and Auction at Oyhut Bay tent 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

On the Beach

• Justin the Circler sand drawing workshop 11 a.m. – noon

• Form Finders build a sandcastle 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

• KOSW 91.3 plays music 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Live Music

• Washington Old Time Fiddlers 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

• Raucus 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday, June 26

Carvers at Vendor Village
