The annual Home and Garden Show will have everything you dreamed for during winter.

For the 20th year, the WSU Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties will bring their Home and Garden Show to Elma this weekend.

The show will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds. Admission and parking are free.

Children will be able to take part in a scavenger hunt and other activities, and adults will find plenty to interest them in addition to dozens of vendors selling vegetables, flowers, shrubs, trees, colorful pots and planters of annuals and herbs.

“The show is the place to get ideas, information, advice, tools and plants for your projects,” the Master Gardeners’ release states. “The Mike Murphy Memorial Pavilion will be filled to capacity with vendors of gutters, roofing, home remodeling, cabinetry, antiques and garden art.”

Award-winning garden designer and certified horticulturalist Sue Goetz will speak Saturday at 2 p.m. She is described as “your personal mentor in the garden” on her website, thecreativegardener.com.

Sunday’s speaker will be Pacific Northwest garden guru Ciscoe Morris. His talk at 1 p.m. will cover “dazzling plant combinations,” according to a release from the Master Gardeners. According to his website, ciscoe.com, Morris has written multiple books and appeared on several gardening television shows.

Master Gardeners also will be conducting seminars throughout the weekend, as well as plant clinics to address visitors’ specific gardening questions.
