Teddy: Adoptable Pet of the Week

This Pekingese is a masterpiece just waiting to be discovered. Little Teddy has never been given a chance to bond with anyone and, for the most part, he takes refuge in his crate.

This 4-year-old fella is very timid with new people, though he gets along well with other dogs and cats. He needs someone who is willing to spend time getting to know him and letting him warm up to them. He also needs to embrace his underbite, rather than be ashamed of it. (It’s cute as sin.)

Visit Teddy at PAWS of Grays Harbor, 800 W. First St., Aberdeen. They are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursdays from 2 to 6 p.m. You can also visit PAWS online at www.pawsgh.org, find them on Facebook or Instagram, or call 360-533-1141. Adopters who are 55 and older receive a 20 percent discount on adoption fees.
