Renowned accordionist to perform at Aberdeen library

His international repertoire has delighted audiences in many countries.

Born in Italy, raised in Canada, with advanced music degrees from the U.S., Mario Cianflone is an acclaimed accordionist and music educator. He will perform music from many countries and in many styles at the Aberdeen Timberland Library on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Cianflone will demonstrate the versatility and richness of the accordion through musical selections ranging from classical Italian to Argentinian tango. He will talk about the history of the accordion and demonstrate some of the special musical effects of the instrument.
