Registration open for Ride the Willapa 2020

Registration is open for the fifth annual Ride the Willapa, scheduled for June 20-21 on the Willapa Hills Trail.

CENTRALIA — Registration is open for the fifth annual Ride the Willapa, scheduled for June 20-21 on the Willapa Hills Trail.

Bicycle riders of all ages and all abilities can participate. The host site for this year’s ride is Adna Middle/High School in Chehalis, with a variety of route options available.

Overnight camping will also be available at Rainbow Falls State Park in Dryad, Willapa Hills Farm in Doty, and Jones Creek Brewing in Pe Ell. The annual Tour de Farms, which showcases locally sourced food and other goods, will return to Willapa Hills Farm on June 20 in conjunction with the ride.

Ride the Willapa is a fully supported ride. Volunteers will provide luggage transport, first aid, refreshments at aid stations, mechanical assistance and more.

Registration fees start at $20 for adults and $12.50 for youth for the single-day option, with an additional fee for overnight camping. Ride tickets and meal tickets are available at ridethewillapa.com.

More than 550 riders participated in Ride the Willapa 2019.
