Ocosta Oyster Feed has something for all tastes

Get all the oysters you can eat at the Ocosta Rec Hall’s 37th annual Oyster Feed on Saturday.

For $20, oyster fans age 13 and older can have all the steamed and fried oysters they can eat, along with oyster stew. The cost is $10 for ages 6-12, and free for younger kids.

Non-oyster eaters can load up on spaghetti, Asian noodle and ambrosia salads, cole slaw, garlic bread and Polish dogs at the same cost. Beer and wine will be available to adults for $4 a pop.

Raffle items from a number of local businesses will be up for grabs, and you need not be present to win; a friendly volunteer will call and make sure all raffle items get to the winners.

The feed runs from 3 to 7 p.m. at the rec hall, located at 45 Ocosta 6th St. Take Ocosta 6th Street south off State Route 105 just east of the entrance to Bottle Beach to get there.

Coast Seafoods, Markham Oysters, Brady’s Oysters, Hatton Brothers Oysters, Minterbrook Oyster Co. and Grays Harbor Oyster are donating the oysters.

Proceeds benefit the rec hall, which is located at the old Ocosta School site.
