Northwest Carriage Museum donates proceeds of mask sales to food bank

The Northwest Carriage Museum in Raymond is offering its own branded face masks for a dollar of each, with sale going to the North Pacific County Food Bank. The masks have been a success and the museum was pleased to provide the food bank with a first check of $100, which will help several local families. Museum Executive Director Laurie Bowman presented the check to Bonnie Ryan, North Pacific County Food Bank manager. Meanwhile, the museum is open to visitors and is planning an entertaining December with $5 admission for all Pacific County and Grays Harbor residents. Hand sanitizing stations are throughout the museum, masks are required and staff ensures no one touches the carriages and artifacts (and it is easy to maintain 6-foot social distancing in the 12,000-square foot building. Additional events during December will include a Santa scavenger hunt and a special Santa Collection with more than 300 Santas will be on display. Don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets either. The museum has several baskets with local gift certificates and full of holiday goodies. For more information call 360 942-4150 or check out www.nwcarriagemuseum.org.
