The WSU Master Gardeners of Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties will present “Drip Irrigation for the Home Gardener” today in South Bend.

Local Master Gardeners will discuss how to set up a drip irrigation system for your home garden and landscape. Topics will include:

• Why a drip system makes sense.

• The various types of drip systems and the best applications of each.

• The components of a drip system.

• How to install a drip system.

The class will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church, 103 Adams St. There is no charge, and no preregistration is necessary.

After the workshop, attendees may continue on to the WSU Master Gardener Demonstration Beds at the community garden for a hands-on session installing a drip irrigation system. Dress for the weather.
