Grays Harbor County officials sworn in

About 50 family members, local dignitaries and friends attended a ceremonial swearing-in of county officials Jan. 2 in Montesano during a special meeting of the Grays Harbor County Commission.

Commissioner Vickie Raines, Auditor Joe MacLean, Clerk Kym Foster, Prosecutor Katie Svoboda, Coroner Robert Kegel, Assessor Dan Lindgren, Sheriff Rick Scott and Treasurer Kenneth Albert were officially sworn in during the ceremony.

Judges David Edwards and David Mistachkin took turns swearing in the officials as members of the audience took pictures. After about 15 minutes, the meeting was adjourned.
