GHC honors retirees

Six retiring instructors

Six retiring instructors were honored in June at Grays Harbor College. They have logged a combined 129 years at GHC:

• Denis Samson started as an automotive technology instructor in 2004.

• Mike Kelly, dean for workforce education, came to GHC in 2000 and has had a lengthy career in workforce education around the state.

• Doug Jones had been a member of the business management faculty since 1990.

• Pam Aho was a part-time instructor with the physical education and fitness lab starting in 1992.

• Russ Jones, chemistry instructor, spent his entire career at GHC, starting in 1981.

• Laurie Clary retired as vice president of instruction, having served in that capacity since 2006.
