The Driftwood Players will present its production of “The 39 Steps” beginning this weekend.

The comedy in two acts, is a fast-paced whodunit. A man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she’s a spy. When he takes her home, she is murdered. Soon a mysterious organization called “The 39 Steps” is hot on the man’s trail in a nationwide manhunt.

Upcoming performance dates are:

• Friday, Saturday: Sept. 30, Oct. 1

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Oct. 7-9

Friday and Saturday curtain time is 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinee curtain time is 1:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and are available online at aberdeendriftwood.com.

Tickets can also be purchased at Valu Drug in Montesano, City Center Drug in Aberdeen, Harbor Drug in Hoquiam and Delores’ and Fay’s in Ocean Shores. Tickets can also be purchased at the door if available.

Rush tickets are available the night of the performance for $10 for students with a student ID card.
