Adoptable Pet of the Week: Bella

Bella is an absolutely lovely 4-year-old black Lab. She’s not necessarily shy, but takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. (Those “few minutes” can be shortened dramatically if you happen to be holding a meaty treat.)

She’s had a few litters of pups. They’ve all gone off to college or otherwise moved away, and Bella is ready to put those days behind her and move on to the next phase of her life: the empty nesting phase. She is good with other dogs, cats and mature children.

Bella is house-trained and ready to show you some of her tricks. She can sit, shake and give hugs.

She’s available for adoption through PAWS of Grays Harbor, 800 W. First St., Aberdeen. They are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Thursdays from 2 to 5 p.m. You can also visit PAWS online at www.pawsgh.org, find them on Facebook or Instagram, or call 360-533-1141. Adopters who are 55 and older receive a 20% discount on adoption fees.
