Former longtime Aberdeen residents Bob and Judy Best of Carnation will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary this month.

They were married Feb. 18, 1950, in a private ceremony at the Aberdeen First United Methodist Church.

They both worked at the family business, Best Heating and Air Conditioning. After retirement, Bob continued to work throughout the community doing remodeling work. He also was the project manager for construction of the new Immanuel Baptist Church in Hoquiam.

They have four children, six grandchildren and seven great-children.
