Aberdeen senior Felicia Bell signed a National Letter of Intent to wrestle for UNLV after graduation.

Currently the school’s all-time girls wrestling leader in career wins with 100, Bell will join former Grays Harbor College women’s wrestling head coach Kevin Pine, who was named the coach for UNLV’s inaugural women’s team in May.

“We are excited to have Felicia join the Lady Rebels next season,” Pine said. “I don’t know many student-athletes that have the work ethic and positive attitude that she has. Felicia will have an immediate impact on the team.”

Bell was flanked by coaches, family and friends at a signing ceremony on Friday at Aberdeen High School.

Bell placed third in the state last season and is currently one of the top-ranked wrestlers in her weight class.
