Aberdeen police, with the help of a police dog, arrested a burglar inside a home in the Bel Aire area of town Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called to the home at 4:55 p.m. and someone at the home showed them a broken window. Officers were stationed around the home and waited for officer Pearsall and his police dog Ronin. The dog searched the home and located a suspect hiding in a second floor room. Police said the suspect was treated by paramedics after the contact with the dog, then booked into the city jail for burglary, obstructing a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
