Montesano’s Grubb records hole in one

Montesano High School golfer Glory Grubb recorded her first hole-in-one during the Bulldogs’ first day of practice on Monday.

Grubb, a senior three-sport athlete who just two days before played point guard for the Monte girls basketball team in a regional-round playoff game, cupped her tee shot on the par-3, fourth hole at the Oaksridge Golf Course. Grubb used a 5-wood to make the 165-yard shot, which was witnessed by Mylaina Parker, Kaylee Lane, and Maggie Harris.
