Westport LLC is GGHI September business of month.

Founded in 1964, Westport L.L.C. has built and launched a variety of vessels including commercial fishing boats, fast passenger ferries, and yachts. Today, Westport focuses on building composite crafted motoryachts. The company is the largest yacht builder in North America and one of the largest in the world.

Westport recently unveiled its first 125-foot motoryacht, which will debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in November.

“Launching a new yacht is always an exciting achievement for the entire Westport family,” explains Director of Sales Alex Rogers. “This particular launch makes us feel very proud because it is the new flagship in the series, and our most advanced yacht built to date.”

As a local company, Westport generously donates to the Union Gospel Mission, Aberdeen Rotary Business Week, Big Brother Big Sisters, Scouts, the Special Olympics and area schools and youth sporting programs.
