Miss Washington 2018 was held June 29-30 in Burien. Two of the 25 contestants were Miss Grays Harbor Kuinn Karaffa of Montesano, and Miss Northwest McKenzie Brooks of Cosmopolis. Neither of the local young women made the Top 10. However, Brooks, left, who just graduated from Western Washington University, received the Non-Finalist Best Interview award, and Karaffa, right, was recognized for selling the most program ads.
