Town Hall for Veterans on April 21

The governor’s Veterans Affairs Advisory Committee will host a town hall meeting later this month to provide veteran-related information and receive feedback from attendees.

According to Pacific County resident Ron Black, who is a member of the committee, speakers covering a variety of issues have been invited including someone from the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs, the Federal VA Caregiver Program, the Suicide Prevention Program, Work Source, the Women’s Veterans Affairs Committee and a speaker providing a legislative update.

Veterans and family members are invited to attend the event at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 21, at the Aberdeen Elks Lodge, 1712 S. Boone St. in Aberdeen.
