Elma Chamber seeks nominations for ‘of the year’ awards

The 2022 Elma Citizen of the Year recognition award banquet will be held on Friday, April 29, at the Elma Eagles.
Social hour will start at 6 p.m. with a prime rib/prawn dinner at 7 p.m. and the presentation of awards and dessert auction scheduled for 7:30 p.m.. Nominations for the following categories are being accepted through April 13:
• Citizen of the Year
• Long Term Distinguished Citizen
• Business of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year (under 30 years old as of Jan. 1, 2022)
• School District Employee of the Year
Nominations ballots are available on the chamber’s website, elmachamber.org
Tickets to the banquet are $30 per person and available at the Andy’s Auto Parts, Dennis Company, Elma Pharmacy and in the chamber office, 404 W. Young St.
