Local DKG members aid children, mission

Washington State Delta Kappa Gamma, a women teachers organization, recently conducted a statewide project called Snuggle Time Fleece. Members made “no sew” fleece blankets for children who have been displaced from their homes into foster care. DKG’s Phi Chapter (consisting of members from both Grays Harbor and Pacific counties) made 14 fleece blankets to be donated.

The Phi Chapter also recently collected mugs, filled them with instant drink packets and other treats, and donated them to the Union Gospel Mission.
