Elma hammered Chief Leschi while Hoquiam faltered down the stretch as we take a look at Thursday’s Twin Harbors boys prep soccer results.

Elma had no problems finding the back of the net in a 13-0 thrashing of Chief Leschi on Thursday in Puyallup.
The Eagles (4-2 overall, 4-2 1A Evergreen) scored four goals through the first quarter of play and led 7-0 at halftime against the Warriors (0-6, 0-6), who have been outscored 71-1 in its first six games this season.
Eagles sophomore midfielder Ivan Rodriguez opened the scoring with a goal off an intercepted goal kick in the second minute followed by back-to-back goals from senior midfielder Gregory Mendez in the ninth and 12th minutes.
Sophomore midfielder Bryan Torres scored a goal off a Luis Torres assist in the 19th minute and took a feed from midfielder Diego Morales for a goal in the 23rd minute.
Ivan Torres and junior forward Marcos Duran scored goals in the 26th and 28th minutes, respectively, for a 7-0 halftime lead.
Bryan Torres added two goals in the second half to finish with four goals in the game.
Mendez scored off an assist from senior midfielder Theo Flores for Elma’s final goal of the game in the 78th minute, securing a hat trick in the process.
“Nice facility and they were a good host,” Elma head coach Carson Seaberg said. “Everyone got a chance to play.”
Elma has a key league game against Raymond-South Bend at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at South Bend High School.

Forks 5, Hoquiam 1
Hoquiam allowed four goals in the second half to suffer a 5-1 loss to Forks on Thursday at Forks High School.
The Grizzlies (2-5, 2-4 1A Evergreen) fell behind 1-0 after a goal in the 10th minute but responded 10 minutes later when sophomore midfielder J.B. Fabian sent a cross to midfielder Israel Rosales, who connected for a goal to tie the game at 1-1.
The game remained locked at 1-all until a Forks goal with 15 minutes left to play opened the flood gates. The Spartans (3-4, 3-3) scored three more times down the stretch to hand Hoquiam the loss.
“The game was continuously back and forth, we just couldn’t find the net,” Hoquiam head coach Corri Schmid said. “Ultimately, we didn’t fight for the win for the full 80 minutes of the game and Forks took advantage of that.”
The Grizzlies face Tenino at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Tenino High School.
