Two registered Level 3 sex offenders are moving into downtown Aberdeen.

According to the Aberdeen Police Department, Jason Wayne Ridley, 45, has registered an address in the 900 block of West Heron Street. Ridley was convicted in Mason County in 1989 of indecent liberties, in 1998 for fourth degree assault with sexual motivation, and in 2005 for second degree attempted rape.

Joshua James Allen, 41, has registered an address in the 900 block of West Wishkah Street. Allen was convicted in 2007 of second degree assault with sexual motivation and unlawful imprisonment. In 2016, Allen was convicted of failure to register as a sex offender in Grays Harbor Superior Court.

Neither man is currently wanted by the police. The notification is meant to alert the community of the presence of two Level 3 sex offenders, considered high risk to re-offend.
