The Grays Harbor March For Our Lives rally will be taking place today in Aberdeen’s Zelasko Park at 1 p.m. The march and rally is just one of more than 500 planned protests nationwide to push for increased gun legislation. The protest was created in response to February’s mass shooting in Parkland, Fla.

According to the Facebook event, the goal is to “emphasize the importance of gun safety regulations to end gun violence,” and that “we are rallying to raise the voices of the young people of Grays Harbor.” There are currently 31 people listed as “going” and 80 who are “interested.”
