One person was transported by Aberdeen Fire

Fire and law enforcement personnel responded to a bus crash on Wednesday afternoon after a Grays Harbor Transit bus drove through a barrier on the Wishkah Street Bridge in Aberdeen.

One person was transported to Harbor Regional Health, said Aberdeen Fire Chief Dave Golding in an interview, while other people on the bus, approximately six, were treated for minor injuries or were not injured.

The initial call, of a single vehicle crash on the bridge, came in at 2:36 p.m., Golding said. Aberdeen fire and police responded in force, with assistance from other agencies. There was no fire resulting from the crash, Golding said. Traffic across the bridge was briefly shut down but was soon reopened.
